Girl injured in IOW car collision

A 12-year-old girl was injured in a car collision on the Isle of Wight on Monday evening and was taken to hospital for treatment.

A 12-year-old girl was injured after a collision with a car on Wootton Bridge, Isle of Wight.

The incident happened on Monday July, 1 between 6.40pm and 7.10pm.

The girl suffered minor head injuries and was taken to St Mary's Hospital for treatment and was released that evening with swelling and bruising.

The car involved in the collision was a silver Nissan Pixo and the 28-year-old driver was unharmed.
