Appeal for video footage of Sheerness fire

Officers investigating a suspicious fire in Sheerness which has left two people with serious injuries have renewed their appeal for information. Detectives are investigating the blaze at a block of flats in Richmond Street last Monday, 24th June.

Some people managed to escape but it's reported two people had jumped from the top of the building. One person remains in a serious condition following the fire. Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have information about the incident who may not have come forward yet.

In particular, they would like to speak to anyone who captured video footage of the fire as part of their investigation. Three 15-year-old boys and a 16-year-old boy, all from Sheerness have been arrested and bailed in connection with the fire.
