Road users are reminded that the southbound A3 will be closed between the Stoke (A320) and Hog’s Back (A31) junctions near Guildford, Surrey, for 32 hours from 10pm today until 6am on Monday July 8.
The work is part of a scheme to re-waterproof and resurface the bridge which carries the A3 over the Ascot to Guildford railway line.
A fully signed diversion route will be in place via the A25, A322 and A31. A strategic diversion is available via the M25, M3 and M27.
There will be two further separate overnight closures of the northbound and southbound carriageways next week.
