Kent Police is urging motorcyclists to stay safe as more riders are anticipated to take to the roads during the warmer weather. Officers are advising bikers to prepare their motorcycles and drive carefully throughout the motorcycle season.
It’s likely more motorcyclists will be enjoying the Kent countryside as the summer months continue and I’d urge all riders to check the condition of their bikes before starting their journey. I’d also advise all riders to wear protective clothing even throughout the warmer days. Motorcyclists can be particularly vulnerable when involved in a collision and our priority is to reduce the number killed and seriously injured on our roads."
