A 72-year-old man has died after his three-wheeled Suzuki motorcycle came off the road and hit a tree near Corhampton in Hampshire. The pensioner from Waterlooville was pronounced dead at the scene after the crash at 1.20pm on Beacon Hill Lane towards Warnford.
Sergeant Darren Ord from Hampshire Police said: 'The man was riding as part of an organised ride-out this afternoon when, for some reason, his vehicle left the road and collided with a tree.
'We are investigating the cause of the collision but there is nothing to suggest at this time that the riding was speeding or driving dangerously.'
Anyone with information is asked to contact Hampshire Police on 101, quoting Operation Sandbox.
