A man who dumped rubbish in the countryside on 13 occasions in less than a year has been jailed for eight months.
Daniel John Barry Clarke, who's 24 and formerly of Dacre Road, Herstmonceux, also pleaded guilty to seven offences of failing to comply to his duty of care as a registered waste carrier.
The court head on all but one occasion, Clarke had charged his customers to remove waste, but then dumped it at locations in the Wealden countryside.
These included five locations in Herstmonceux: Butler’s Lane, Cricketing Lane
Chilsham Lane, New Bridge Road and Lower Road.
He also dumped waste at Cinderford Lane, Hellingly; West Street Lane, Horam; Squirrel Lane, Magham Down and Shrieks Lane, Bodle Street Green.
Five of the fly tips were blocking public rights of way.
