Two people have been seriously injured in a minibus crash on the M3 in Hampshire.
Police are investigating after the collision which happened at 9.48am on the M3 southbound between junctions 5 and 6 at Old Basing. No other vehicles were involved.
Southbound traffic is being diverted off the motorway at junction 5 while emergency services attend the scene. The northbound carriageway has been closed to allow the air ambulance to land to convey the casualties to hospital.
Seven people are walking wounded. Motorists are asked to avoid the area until further notice, particularly the southbound carriageway which is expected to remain closed for some time.
