Two charged after stabbing

A murder inquiry has been launched in Windsor after a 24-year-old man died from stabbing wounds. He had been involved in an altercation with other men in the early hours of the morning.

Man, 24, dies after altercation in Windsor

Thames Valley Police are appealing for information after launching a murder inquiry in Windsor.

A 24-year-old man died in hospital after being stabbed during an altercation between a group of men in Barry Avenue in the town at 3.09am on Sunday 28th July 2013.

“The investigation is in its early stages and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the altercation, or has information about the incident to contact police.

“I would like to reassure the community that incidents such as these are extremely uncommon, and that we are investigating the incident thoroughly.”

The man died from his injuries at Wexham Park Hospital in Slough.

A 27-year-old man from Harrow, a 26-year-old man from London, two men aged 21 from Leighton Buzzard and another man have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
