A witness appeal has been made after a man was seriously injured by fuel thieves near Sevenoaks on Wednesday afternoon. The 58-year-old man is in a critical condition in King’s College Hospital, London, after he was carried on the bonnet of a car about half a mile down the A20 at West Kingsdown.
Officers have not yet been able to speak to the injured man, but it is believed that he was working at the Texaco service station and was trying to prevent the car from leaving after it was filled with fuel.
The car was described as a dark coloured small saloon with a man and woman inside.
