A 28-year-old man was attacked in Bournemouth whilst out cycling and detectives are looking for witnesses.
The incident happened at around 3.45am on Monday, July 1 along a pathway accessible from Throop Road and adjacent to the A338.
It is alleged the offenders are two men who were on a white and silver motorcycle.
The rider of the motorbike is described as white, skinny build, wearing coloured shorts and a puffa jacket with a white helmet.
A 50-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to cause grevious bodily harm with intent.
Detective Constable Elizabeth Horrex, of Bournemouth and Poole CID, said: "The victim suffered some nasty injuries, and we are investigating the circumstances of how he came to receive them."
