A Northfleet man has been jailed for 13 years after abusing a young girl.
Michael Anderson, 52-years-old, from Haynes Road, was caused at Maidstone Crown Court of oral rape, inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and five counts of sexual assault.
Anderson was also charged with causing a child to watch a sexual act and making indecent images of children.
He was arrested on May 20, 2012 but denied all allegations but was later re-arrested where indecent images were found by officers from Kent Police.
Investigating officer Detective Constable, Fleur Hardie of Kent Police, said: "I hope this sentence reinforces the point that Kent Police supports all victims, and their families, involved in such despicable crimes. We will investigate thoroughly and do our best to put offenders before the courts."
