This year's Brighton Pride is seen as the biggest to date but despite the masses of people descending on the city, Police say arrest numbers were similar to previous years.
40 arrests were made on August 3-4 and 24 arrests were made either in Preston Park or very close.
Given the sheer size of this operation, I would say that overall, the day was a huge success and the vast majority of attendees will have experienced a wonderful festive weekend and will take home some great memories of Pride 2013.
Officers worked through the night and were a visible presence on the streets to help, advise and prevent crime.
It was great seeing the support from many of the crowds gathered in the street for the officers and staff who were marching in the parade.
