VIDEO REPORT: Is King Alfred buried in Hampshire?

The centuries-old mystery of King Alfred's bones could finally be solved. An archaeological group wants to carry out tests on remains exhumed from an unmarked grave at St Bartholomew's church in Winchester.

The results could prove that they are that of the legendary 9th century king who famously burnt the cakes and defeated the Danes. Juliette Fletcher reports. She speaks to Sophie Cunningham-Dawe, of Hyde 900, and Prof Martin Biddle of Oxford University.
