Three men have admitted assaulting a man in Aylesbury which left the victim with bleeding on the brain.
Tomasz Biernacki, 41, Gwedon Jakoc, 30, and Elias Cordero, 20, admitted carrying out the assault on the 42-year-old victim at around 2.30am in Aylesbury on 7th May.
Biernacki and Jakoc were sentenced to five years in prison and Cordero was given an 18 month sentence for admitting Grevious Bodily Harm when they appeared at Aylesbury Crown Court on Wednesday 14th August.
Investigating officer Det Con Dave Phipps said: “This was an unprovoked attack that left their victim with serious injuries that required treatment in hospital.
“I hope these sentences send out a stark warning to people that mindless violence is totally unacceptable and will not be tolerated.”
