Hythe Police are appealing for the driver whose car collided with a bicycle to come forward.
The crash happened on Saturday 17th August at 1.30pm when the car hit a 13-year-old boy who was cycling towards Netley View.
A small cream or white car overtook him and pulled in sharply.
The rear of the car collided with the front wheel of the bike, then the boy fell off and tumbled several times.
The car did not stop.
PC Gary Kimble wants to hear from any witnesses and for the driver to come forward.
Fortunately, the boy was not seriously injured. However, I would appeal to the driver to come forward to police. I also need to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, but who has not talked to police."
