A fish and chip shop worker has been stabbed during an attempted robbery in Kent. The 49 year old was leaving the shop in Luton High Street in Chatham just before 10 o'clock last night when he was approached by a masked man demanding money.
Police say the attacker ran off empty-handed and the victim then realised he had been stabbed in the leg. Kent Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward . The victim is in hospital in a stable condition .
