The emergency services say too many people are abusing the 999 service and potentially putting lives at risk.
In recent months Surrey Police have taken calls on their emergency line from people complaining their television has broken to others wanting to know how bad the traffic was on the M25.
As Heather Edwards reports the Police are appealing for people to use the 999 service responsibly.
