Man headbutted in city centre

Thames Valley Police is appealing for information following an assault in Oxford city centre in the early hours of Saturday (24/8).

At about 2.45am, a 32-year-old man was walking along Queen Street near the Crabtree and Evelyn store, when he was headbutted by an unknown person.

He was then punched and kicked while on the ground. It left him with a laceration to the forehead and marks and bruises on his face and back.

There is no description of the offender available at this time.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who saw the incident, as the area was busy at the time and there were a number of taxis around in the area.
