A mother of two has been jailed tonight for knocking over and killing a cyclist. Victoria McClure, who is 38-years-old, had been distracted because she was using her sat nav. The bike rider was killed instantly.
The judge at Reading Crown Court said he had taken into account her genuine remorse and the consequences for her children. Therefore, she would serve only half of the 18 month sentence. Heather Edwards reports.
