Thousands of model enthusiasts from all over Great Britain have converged on Headcorn in Kent for the Southern Model Show.
It is the first time the event has been held at the airfield near Maidstone and up to twelve thousand people are expected this weekend. As Iain McBride reports this is far cry from just sticking bits of plastic together with glue. These models can fly!
The interviewees are: Steven Bishop, Red Arrows display team; Colin Hitchins, the event organiser; Gregory Hayfield, an Aircraft engineer; and Anthony Pritchard, a model maker.
