A man who was charged with the death of a Bournemouth man will be sentenced today, twelve years after it happened.
Clive Wilcox was struck outside a convenience store on Wimborne Road in Winton in May 2001.
He received serious head injuries and did not recover.
He died at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital the following night.
Daniel Scott, who is 33-years-old, pleaded guilty to manslaughter.
Inspector Stewart Balmer, of Dorset Police's Major Crime Investigation Team said, "This was a tragic incident that resulted in an innocent man losing his life."
