Southern Railway- Statement

"Following the overnight storms, we, along with Network Rail, have now started to assess the damage to our route.Currently, there are a large number of trees obstructing lines, which need to be cleared before we are able to prove the route, and start running passenger services.Southern and Gatwick Express services will therefore not start operating at 0900 as previously hoped. A further update of when we hope to start services will be provided at 0930.Passengers are advised to check before travelling today."
