A hockey club held a moment of silence and a minute's applause for a former player who was killed when a tree fell on her caravan earlier this week. Bethany Freeman, 17, was asleep when the tree came down in Hever, Kent. Edenbridge Hockey Club held the tribute before a match earlier today.
Bethany was a Gold Olympic Young Ambassador in 2012, and played with several sports clubs around Kent, coaching younger girls at school and at various clubs.
