A driver has been rescued after becoming trapped in a carwash. It happened at a filling station in Oxfordshire.
The man left his car to enter the start code in the machine at Frilford Heath filling station, Abingdon. The carwash started, trapping the man between the frame of the machine and his vehicle. Fire crews rescued him by cutting away the car door.
The man was treated for minor injuries. The carwash stopped when it detected that the mechanism was blocked. 'User error' is being blamed.
