A serving soldier has been arrested in connection with firearms offences after bomb disposal teams were seen at a premises in Buckinghamshire.
It is thought the arrest of the soldier, in Aylesbury, is linked to ammunition that was found.
Up to three bomb disposal units were reportedly seen at a premises in Aylesbury on Sunday afternoon.
The Ministry of Defence confirmed that a soldier has been arrested in connection with firearms offences.
A spokesman said: "We can confirm a serving soldier has been arrested in connection with firearms offences.
"The matter has been handed over to the Royal Military Police.
"With their investigation ongoing it would be inappropriate to comment any further."
