Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman driving west on the A27 between Chichester and Emsworth at about 6.20pm on Friday, November 1, had a rock thrown at her convertible car, smashing the windscreen.
The woman and her husband, who was a passenger in the vehicle, were showered in glass but escaped injury. The woman managed to safely stop the car in a nearby lay-by.
The rock was thrown from a bridge near Havant.
