Detectives investigating the deaths of two teenage girls in Gosport last weekend have charged a man with manslaughter.
Samuel Etherington, aged 20, of Gosport, Hampshire, is charged with two counts of manslaughter and will remain in custody until tomorrow when he is due to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates Court.
Jasmine Allsop who was 14 and Olivia Lewry who was 16 were killed when they were hit by a car at the junction of Ann's Hill Road and Brougham Road on Sunday.
