A firearm may have been used to threaten residents during a robbery in Berkshire. At around 7.48pm yesterday a man entered a house in Reading Road, Finchampstead, and produced what is believed to be a firearm before stealing items from the address. The offender ran away after police were called.
He is described as 6ft, of slim build, and was wearing a balaclava and a black jacket. Inspector Phil O’Neil, of Thames Valley Police, said: 'Officers will be carrying out extra patrols in the area and if anyone has any concerns, please make contact with an officer or the local police station.'
