National Rail have told ITV News Meridian that currently there is no estimated time as to when the disruption will end.
A small fire has damaged equipment which operates signalling in the London Bridge area. No trains are currently running through London Bridge, Cannon Street, Charing Cross or Waterloo East. Engineers are on site assessing the extent of the damage and will carry out repairs as soon as possible. Passengers should travel from St Pancras, Farringdon, City Thameslink, Blackfriars, Elephant and Castle or Victoria for services to Kent and Sussex. Tickets are valid on London Underground, London buses and other train operators.
We apologise for the disruption and advise passengers to check National Rail Enquiries for the latest information.
