Court to hear appeal on length of jail term

The Court of Appeal is due to decide today whether the sentence given to a nineteen year old for attacking a man - leaving him with brain damage, is long enough.

Andrew Toseland was badly beaten outside his home in Gosport in Hampshire in August 2012. Samuel Armstrong, aged 19, was jailed for just over five years.
