Fire crews from Oxfordshire are still at the scene of a major fire on an industrial estate in Banbury, Oxfordshire. They were called to the Beaumont estate last night, to tackle the blaze, which broke out at a disused cash and carry unit. A large number of gas cylinders were also near the premises.
We expect to be tackling the fire for several hours yet, and are likely to maintain a presence well into the weekend to monitor the situation - particularly with regard to allowing any potentially dangerous gas cylinders time to cool."
