A reward is now being offered following a hit and run that killed 69-year-old man from Poole last week.
Christopher Colegate from Poole was killed after he was struck by a vehicle which failed to stop at the scene and he suffered significant injuries.
Police are continuing to search for witnesses who were in Darby's Lane at around 7.25pm on Friday evening.
Members of the public will be eligible for the cash reward if they call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 - with information that leads to the arrest and charge of the offender.
I urge the driver involved in this collision to please do the right thing and get in touch. This has caused Mr Colegate’s family great distress. We know the driver would have been aware of the collision and I urge him or her to get in contact with us immediately. This will not go away; we will find you.”
