Police are warning motorists about a scam in Basingstoke where cars are being flagged down at the side of main roads and asked for money.
There have been two incidents this week in Andover and Basingstoke.
The first incident happened at 11am on Tuesday 17th December when a woman was flagged down on the slip road of the M3 at J6 by a man asking for money for fuel.
Around the same time on Wednesday 18th December a man was flagged down on the slip road of A303 near Picket Twenty.
A man with an Audi A4 car, which was either purple or maroon, asked for money for fuel.
