Kent Police is appealing for information following a road traffic collision in the Broadstairs area, in which a man died.
At approximately 11:35pm on 20 December, a member of the public contacted police reporting an incident in North Foreland Road where a black Citreon Saxo had hit a garden wall. The vehicle did not stop and shortly afterwards it collided with a boundary wall in George Hill Road, Kingsgate.
‘Paramedics attended the scene there but the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.’
The driver was in his late 20s and was from the Margate area. His next of kin have been informed.
The road remained closed for a number of hours while officers from the Serious Collision Investigation unit examined the scene.
