The Transport for Buckinghamshire (TfB) Operations Hub has been called out to 95 flood sites since 23 December. TfB's emergency crews have cleared away 125 fallen trees in the same time period.
The service received 70 calls on Monday 7 January alone, 14 of those were for emergency crews to deal with surface water flooding on roads in the county. Thirty-eight of the other calls were for emergency pothole repairs.
New photos taken by the Environment Agency show the scale of the flooding in the Arun valley south of Pulborough.
MPs have said it is vital that Defra preserves its ability to respond to emergencies, such as the recent flooding, despite deep cuts.
