People in the south east who suffered power cuts during the storms over the festive period are angry with the amount of compensation being offered.
More than a thousand properties in Kent and hundreds in Sussex were without electricity for several days.
UK Power Networks is trebling the standard compensation of £27 to £75 as a 'goodwill gesture'.
Additional payments up to £432 will be offered to those cut off for longer than 48 hours.
