A woman has told an inquest that she helped her parents to die out of compassion and love for them both. The hearing in Berkshire heard how retired doctor Philip David Arnold and his wife Elizabeth told their family that they wanted to go together.
Dr Arnold who was 82 years old was bed bound - his wife Elizabeth who was 85 had Alzheimer's Disease. Their daughter Georgina Roberts said she gave her mother and father a tumbler of drugs at their home in Newbury. Juliette Fletcher was at the hearing today.
