Former Brighton footballer Kane Louis, who was banned from driving for 18 months in September after he drove down the wrong side of the motor way during the snow, has had his appeal dismissed.
Louis, who played for Brighton as a teenager, drove for 10 miles the wrong way down the A23 in March last year, during the heavy snow.
He was one of thousands of people that got trapped in the gridlock on Sussex roads.
He decided to drive for miles the wrong way 'because he was cold' as other motorists were stranded for up to 12 hours.
