Tomorrow is the 21st anniversary of a murder that shocked Britain: the multiple stabbing of Kent schoolgirl Claire Tiltman. Her parents died without seeing justice. No-one was ever charged with the murder.
But tonight the case is being described by police as 'active' and there are hopes of a breakthrough. John Ryall spoke to Claire's friends Joanne Roberts and Vicki Atkins and Det Supt Rob Vinson of the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate.
