Thames Valley police are appealing for witnesses after a man died in a car crash in Tilehurst, Reading.
At 3:30am on Monday, police were called to a report that a white Ford Transit van had collided with a pedestrian.
The 31-year-old Reading man was taken to the Royal Berkshire hospital in Reading.
He was then transferred to the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford, where he sadly died yesterday.
Investigating officer PC Melanie Todd said, "I am appealing for anyone who saw the collision or anyone who was in the area at that approximate time.
"If you saw what happened or saw the van shortly before the collision, please call the police via our non-emergency number."
That number is 101, quoting URN 13/01/14.
