An initiative to invest 400 million pounds in green energy in the Thames Valley was launched today.

Green energy boost for Oxfordshire

The Thames Valley could be on the verge of a green energy boom with more than £400m being invested into developing the local economy.

Oxfordshire plans to cut it's carbon emissions by 40 percent in the next six years and by 50 percent by 2030.

It's an ambitious target - but today the new initiative was launched. Mel Bloor reports.
