The designs for a new station at Bicester Town have been released. The plans include two new platforms, an improved station approach with cycle parking and bus stops. Work on the station is expected to be completed by summer 2015.
Rob Brighouse, Managing Director at Chiltern Railways said: "Our brand new station at Bicester Town is part of our innovative project to build a new rail line between Oxford and London Marylebone.
Our investment provides the growing town of Bicester with two stations providing trains to London bringing more opportunities to travel and new transport connections for people in Oxfordshire."**
Chiltern Railways will be running a bus replacement service from 15 February 2014 whilst work goes on to construct the new line between Bicester and Oxford.
