Detectives in Bournemouth are appealing for the public’s help as they are becoming increasingly concerned for a man who went missing from his home address in the Branksome area of the town.
Brian Arthur Ross, 66, was last seen at his home in Surrey Road at approximately 10.30am on Sunday 12 January 2014.
He is of slim build, around five feet nine inches tall with thinning grey hair. Brian wears glasses and is softly spoken with a local accent.
Detective Sergeant Julie Dransfield, of Bournemouth CID, said: “I understand that Brian was upset before his disappearance and due to the time that has lapsed since he was last seen we are very concerned for his welfare.
We have information that Brian booked a plane ticket to Spain for the middle of January but did not turn up for his flight. It is important that Brian, or anyone who knows of his whereabouts, comes forward as soon as possible.”
