Following the inspection at Kams Palace staff have been re-trained in food hygiene and the hygiene procedures and cleanliness have improved.
Executive Member for Public Protection, Cllr Trevor Cartwright said: “This is one of the largest restaurants in Fareham and they exposed their customers to an unacceptable risk of illness due to their poor food hygiene practices.
"Food businesses must ensure they comply with the relevant food hygiene legislation so that the food they serve is safe.
"Employers must also fulfil their obligations regarding their employees’ health and safety."
