A computer-generated image has been released by detectives investigating an assault of a teenage girl in Gillingham. The incident was reported to Kent Police to have happened between 5.55pm and 6.05pm on 2 February in an alleyway on Deanwood Drive.
A 16 year old girl had gone out to meet some friends and was waiting on the corner of Deanwood Drive. After a short while she saw someone standing in a nearby alley and thought it was one of her friends.
She began walking towards the person before quickly realising it was not her friend.
As the teenager turned and walked away, the man approached her and grabbed her leg.
He then attempted to touch her chest but the girl managed to block him before kicking him, which forced him to drop to the floor.
The victim ran off in the direction of Deanwood Drive and back home before calling police.
Detectives investigating the case are now in a position to release an e-fit image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
