The health sector regulator - Monitor - says it won't be taking formal enforcement action against the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust after it repeatedly breached A and E targets.
An investigation was launched last August after the hospital failed to see ninety five per cent of patients within four hours - three times in less than two years. Monitor says the trust is taking the right action to improve how it's run.
Paul Streat, Regional Director at Monitor, said: "We have looked very closely at how this trust is being run and we have decided that its management is taking the necessary steps to improve its performance for patients."
