A battle between a school which owns a field near Margate, and local residents who want it open to the public, looks as though it could be won by the community.
A legal bid to declare the land a "village green" - backed by free advice from the University of Kent's Law School - has just been given approval from the County Council's Inspector after a five day enquiry.
