Kent Police has renewed its appeal for information following a report of an assault in Ramsgate on Saturday 29th March.

At around 2:50pm, a 39 year-old man was reportedly attacked by another man in Ellington Park, off Ellington Road.

The victim suffered two black eyes and bruising and cuts to his face.

The man police wish to trace in connection with the incident had a dog with him at the time the incident took place. He is described as a male in his late 30s, with gingery-coloured hair.

Detectives investigating the incident are asking anyone who recognises the man pictured to contact them.

The man's dog is described as white, with beige-coloured patches and a beige tail and was on a linked chain-style lead. After the incident, the man walked away with the dog towards Park Road.

The same dog had been in the park around three hours earlier, being walked off its lead by a woman with long black curly hair who it is believed may be the ginger-haired man’s wife.
