A four-year-old girl is in hospital with serious injuries after being knocked down by a car in Oxford. The youngster was rushed to hospital after the collision with a Hyundai. The girl was believed to have been crossing or had run out in front of the vehicle at 10.45am.
She was taken to John Radcliffe Hospital where she was said to be suffering from serious injuries. Police cordoned off Between Towns Road in the Cowley area of Oxford to investigate, and traffic is being diverted away from the area.
