Police are appealing for witnesses after a driver, who hit a blind man on a pedestrian crossing in St Leonard's, failed to stop.
The man, who was carrying a cane to indicate his disability, was left injured in the middle of the road last Friday morning. It happened on Friday morning in St Leonards-on-Sea.
PC Mark Botley, of Hastings Neighbourhood Response Team, said: "If anyone saw what happened or who has other information that may enable us to identify the vehicle involved, I would urge them to get in touch."
